We have a new addition.  Looks sort of like R2D2 and a little sidekick.  Installed this morning.  Or maybe like a Weber kettle grill.

  2. It’s the filter and heater! You can’t really see the pump from this angle. It is between them. It’s behind the garage near the air conditioner.
